I voted on this sucker and can't get it back to the where you can vote, but it may pop up for you all. I apologize if the link is screwed.

5. that surprised me it was that high
I figured maybe 55 to 45 or something along those lines. 76 is a large percentage.

4. Can you not appreciate that the sensible repubs are coming
over to our side? Is this not a victory on our issues? I am an independent who votes Dem, but I appreciate anyone who is on the right (as in correct) side of my issues.

We need for the thinking repubs to vote on our side, so we need for them to pay attention and be willing to be swayed, and we need to listen to the intelligent repubs who we might support to forward our goals. I think it is our only hope.

If we are insane partisans like them, we lose. It's numbers, numbers, numbers. If the enemy is willing to change sides, you feed him, give him blankets...cradle his/her head, and whisper in their ear...

8. Bluebear...whisper in their 'ear'...get them on our side...they have
spent years and many various company's dollars from corporate interests yanking the rug out from under out feet. They were patient, devious and ruthless, and they succedded and they rule - for now.

We need to get a bit craftier, and support the ones on their side that support our positions, while we position ourselves. I think that this is the only way for "The Greater Good" to win over "The Greater Greed".
