WTF? Fox says Cindy supported convicted terrorist? |
|
Sorry if I'm not up on this. Just saw it in the Green Bay airport this afternoon while coming back from my vacation in Door County.
Something about Cindy attending a rally for a "convicted terrorist." Knowing Fox news I suspect massive lying. What's the story here?

http://www.newshounds.us/2005/08/21/take_action_demand_fox_news_retract_cindy_sheehan_lie.php Democracy Now interviewed the lawyer a couple of time. Probably could hear her side of it there. Here is the link for the interview with the lawyer by Amy Goodman. Lengthy but worth reading http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=05/02/11/1545229&mode=thread&tid=25

6. Thanks! This was covered on GMA this a.m. |
|
What I came away with was that Cindy was a speaker at a peace conference alongside other speakers, including Lynne Stewart. Nowhere did it say she was supporting any terrorist, or even the lawyer of a terrorist. So, looking at it from the viewpoint of someone just tuning in, the point Fox was trying to get across didn't really get there!
Mostly, it was overshadowed by Cindy saying that Bush should send the "party animal" twins to Iraq. I guess this outrages the RWers who consider these girls the "flowers of maidenhood" but I bet there are lots of folks out there who agree with Cindy!

8. GMA Hatchet Job on Cindy. |
|
The other mother was spectacular. I despise Charlie Gibson. What an ass. GMA spent more time on Natalee Holloway and her "missing" the first week of college (and sorority rush) than was spent on the "War." Hey GMA, how many troops died overnight? I don't know and you certainly did your best not to tell me.

Probably a lie, particularly since regardless of how dire Stewart's bullcrap prosecution was, the whole affair remains extremely obscure.

7. Queen Cokie just called Cindy an "unsophisticated woman" |
|
Yeah Cokie, I guess after you've perfected the art of blowing Republicans under the dinner table, a woman who speaks the truth must look rather unsophisticated. Your Dad must be so proud.
