15. I posted this on another thread,
maybe it will help.

"it really is something that you have to see , describing it
doesn't do it justice.

Imagine that you were able to see the course of life and death in your family--complete with the emotions you would feel, but having to move on to the next revelation. And you saw the complexity and depth of all those relationships. If you realized, with just clues that you saw, the trajectory of their lives and understood, could "see" what happened in those lives from the glimpses you saw. All within the course of a few minutes.

Something like that."

9. Since my husband died last December,
"Six Feet Under" has made me cry a lot. They really tapped into the mourning thing, the thing that is about loss. It seemed to be a lot about different types of loss, not just death either. It didn't stop me from watching it and appreciating the artistic efforts that went into it.

10. I'm so sorry.... I can't imagine
I also watched the show in sort of a cathartic way for a loss I had............ I'll truly miss this show as a sort of therapy it gave me.

That ending was beyond brilliant..... in fact, I'm actually having a hard time processing it.......... it makes you think about all the losses we will inevitably have to face.

Lots of love

17. Maybe I'm screwed up, but I thought they were sorta normal
I thought David and Keith were one of the most realistic couples I've ever seen portrayed on tv. Sure they all had their crazy moments, but don't we all?

18. Any chance we might improve GD posts?
Edited on Mon Aug-22-05 09:25 AM by JNelson6563
Anyone else notice how many posts we;re getting lately where there's one sentence referring to something, no link, no blurb, no explanation? Is it me or is lounge style permeating GD?

Julie
