I finally saw most of "Dead Wrong" |
|
I thought it was very interesting. One thing I found really annoying though was whenever someone new was showing up on the show to talk the voice-over guy would talk over them and you'd miss something they were saying. Like one guy was saying how it was politically motivated but you couldn't really hear him because he was being talked over. I don't know why they did that. But it was very interesting. I wonder what is going on. Do you think Bush is about to go down and the media doesn't want to be responsible? I noticed that the New York Times article they showed was written by none other then Judy Miller. I haven't seen all of it yet but did they mention the outing of Mrs. Wilson and all that? I'm glad they mentioned the DSM. I'm taping this to show my dad. But I wonder what is going on for sure.

1. The media IS responsible. |
|
Since the day Paul Revere saddled up and went shouting "The British are coming!" Americans have counted on good information for survival. That is the media's sole job, to give us the information we need to survive. They blew it. We have dead on dead on dead.
And I'm not in a forgiving mood.

2. "condemnation" is not enough, they must stand trial like Julius Streicher |

It's just disgusting. The report was okay. I noticed the person they mostly blamed was members of the Bush administration (as they should) and Tenet.

4. As much of a pain in the ass the corporate media is..... |
|
I think the only traitors who deserve to be hanged in the media are Judith Miller, Michael Ledeen and the propagandists themselves.
Why? Well, most of the corporate media is just to sell ratings. Sure they knew it was highly suspect, and it could have all been lies and they knew Miller was a bitch who's been in trouble before.
But like the whores they are, they sold out for some quick cash. And the emphasis on could, that even if they knew it was lies, they figured there was nothing that could be done about it anyway.
This is how corporate sellouts usually work. They didn't do the crime, they only covered it up. So for that the corporate media should be fined.
But the source of the fraud, Ledeen,Miller etc deserves a hanging.

6. no, it has to go up the chain of command, all the way to the topp |
|
The ENTIRE chain of command in the media needs to be put on trial a la Julius Streicher. No quarter whatsoever. Zero tolerance. No quarter. No amnesty. Never forgive. Never forget.

Too many of them were duped or just didn't care. They won't all be allowed to be prosecuted.
Probably see the execs of Fox News charged, Sun Tribune charged and fined, and New York Times plus CNN and Judith Miller. Conrad is already getting charged from the Sun Tribune....
But it won't go any further then that, as much as I hate to say. Unless we pass legislation and send them to jail or something else.

8. The ideal will never happen. But we must push for it. |
|
Pushing for the top will get further to the top of the chain than not saying anything at all. Public outrage must be honored for fear of things that must not be spoken publicly.
So we need this outrage. We need this insistence. Justice will be compromised, but we must never ACCEPT that compromise.

really showed how they were all involved and they even talked about that Iraq group that was formed! I was surprised. I didn't see the last twenty minute's or so but did they mention the outing of Wilson? I thought this report was very damning on both Tenent and Bush's behalf. It shows how they both worked together to bring the lies out and remember Bush did give him that medal and Bush only promotes those who are loyal to him. One guy pointed out how Tenet had to go along with Bush or risk getting fired and he obviously didn't get fired so this shows, I think, that Bush manipulated everything. This was really damging to Bush I think. I wonder what's up though.

out of the crawler saying that N. Korea is firing up a reactor again to make nukes. Well, it did retrace the leading up to war, which I am sure many don't remember. The attempt to more or less put the onus on the CIA and not WH was not too good. However, there were subtle induendos, like Rice, Chaney, Bu$h repeating the nuke danger. Hopefully it is a beginning of the cracking of the dam.

10. I think it is for the most part |
|
I think the public and media is slowly but surely starting to turn on Bush. If you were to tell me a few weeks ago CNN would have this segment I would've said you were looney. So I wonder what's up indeed.
