by a frequent flyer message board I visit often. You'd be expect it to be loaded with well-off Republicans, but whenever someone tries to sneak some pro-war B.S. into a post, it's immediately attacked.

6. When they've lost the usual right-wing supporters, you know they are |
|
SCREWED. They are losing their base rapidly. Interestingly, I live in the middle of red-state land. And what did I see in my local paper yesterday? A headline that says "State still supports Bush" but the article beneath the headline said that they couldn't find a single person who supported the war in Iraq! So how is that "supporting Bush"? Liberal media my ass!

to quesoperro who wrongly says O'Lielly was opposed to the war, ask him why Bill made the promise about if we go in and there are no weapons of mass destruction, he'll apologize and he'll never trust this administration again.

12. And Jesustaco's Reply |
|
We threw out a secular dictator in the most "westernized" major Arab country and replaced it with Islamic Facsism. It's like we are doing Bin Laden's work for him. Even if we are "successful" in creating a Iranian style Islamic state- which is now apparently our "goal"- I see that as a step backward from Saddam, not a step forward. Nice job Bush.

damnit, we need to take back and own sports too. I'm kind of joking, but kind of not joking at the same time.

15. Sports Fans . . . Read This!! |
|
I don't post often on DU, but I read DU and dailykos everyday. I am a more active poster on sports message boards.
I want to encourage all DUers who are sports fans to participate in sports message boards for your favorite teams. Many boards have "politics" forums in an effort to keep all political posts off of the general sports forum. Some of them moderate their sports forums and delete political posts. However, they often have a relatively unmoderated "smack" forum in which everything else is discussed, including politics.
If you are a sports fan, I think that you can do a lot of good participating on those boards. My suggestion is that you participate in the sports discussions, as well as the political discussions. This will give your political posts some credibility, but do what you want. I think a common stereotype is that sports fans are repub frat boys. However, you will be surprised by the number of fellow liberals you will encounter on the sports message boards. At the same time, however, you won't be "preaching to the choir."
