CNN had ALL that same info LAST ELECTION YEAR and chose NOT to air it |
|
The only new addition to their piece was the copy of the Downing Street Memo.
Now, reporters fell all over themselves downplaying the DSM because they claimed everyone knew Bush was cooking the intel WHEN he was doing it.
So why did they choose to suppress all the dot-connecting analysis until now?
CNN is just playing catch-up to historic facts they cannot change.
Praise them today, but, remember, they were complicit in the cover up and deserve only the most cautious acknowledgement.
George Bush is only in power today because CNN/AOL and their Saudi shareholders helped put him there.

will be journalist behind bars to accompany our corrupt government officials? Not to mention the petitions to fire those other pundit/journalist who should have known better, but joined the bandwagon. David Brock may be the only one who saves face on this one.

3. Thank you for saying it.... |

I have the same mind thought. Just about everything presented last night was old news. Why wasn't this program aired sooner. Why did they wait until after the last election. Why didn't the people interviewed last night start yelling loud and clear before the invasion took place and perhaps it could have been stopped. Where was the media including CNN then. I am one who doesn't think CNN deserves praise for waiting so long to put together old news to show the lies that led to this war. I keep hearing 'well its a start' and I would like to know, a start to what? CNN was too late with this and I would like to know why.

12. Funny thing, Rand Beers was screaming about Bush's foul ups and only ONE |
|
news show gave him any attention, and that was 1 Ted Koppel interview on Nightline.
No primetime news AT ALL.

complicity in selling Bush and his policies while providing cover up for his incompetence and criminality.

5. Methinks the producer of that piece |
|
had some serious persuading to do and it's only because of Cindy Sheehan that it ever had a chance of being broadcast

6. They still have a long way to go before I unblock cnn |
|
I didn't watch last night's piece, but when they consistently report the wrong doings of these cretins then maybe I'll unblock them, until then they're on probation.

9. When will they cover the prison abuse pictures/videos? |
|
They will hide this stuff until they can't hide it anymore. It's amazing how our media tells us nothing but lies, while the rest of the world is told everything. And then we wonder why the rest of the world hates Americans so much? Too many of us insist on putting our heads in the sand, you know, that ones we call Republicans, the ones we call fools.
