In regards to the war, why not just say?
Our Party is divided, just like the Republican Party and just like the rest of the nation is divided. We all support the troops but many Democrats believed the President and his people lied to get us into a war that was not necessary and now almost 1900 of our best troops have died. We cannot force one person to think one way or another. So we accept the fact that some people will support the war and some will not. That is nothing we can change. Just like the Republicans and the rest of America, that is something we must live with and we will let the next election determine what the people want.
