"Bush Plans Sept. 11 Reminders"
WASHINGTON (AP) - What began as one mother's vigil on a country road in Texas two weeks ago has grown into a nationwide protest, putting a grieving human face to the miseries of war and the misgivings about President Bush's strategies in Iraq.

It's still not clear whether Cindy Sheehan's effort was the start of a lasting anti-war movement or a fleeting summertime story fueled by media-savvy liberal interest groups.

Sheehan left the camp Thursday, rushing to the side of her mother, who had suffered a stroke in California. She said she would be back if possible before Bush leaves his ranch for Washington on Sept. 3.

While her backers maintain the vigil in Texas, Republican Party leaders are worried that the so-called Peace Mom has brought long-simmering unease over Iraq to a boil by galvanizing anti-war activists. They fear that protests will strike a chord with the large number of Americans who have long felt uneasy about the war yet have been giving Bush the benefit of the doubt.

2. Speaking as a member of "media-savvy liberal interest groups"
The "so-called" president and his thugee minions and willfully ignorant sheep army will savor 9/11 like they do every year. I don't know many who have been giving Bush the benefit of the doubt, except for the you whores in the press.

4. Bush reminds us
He is responsible for the biggest intelligencs, defense blunder in the entire history of the U.S. He relied on "oceans" to protect us. Ashcroft insisted the he not hear any more about terrorists in the summer of 2001. Bush vacationed in Crawford AFTER getting notice that Bin Laden intended to attack INSIDE the U.S. Rumsfeld took no protective or defensive measures at the Pentagon when a hijacked plane was known to be heading toward Washington, D.C. with the Pentagon a possible/likely target. Condi Rice couldn't imagine hijacked planes being used as weapons but she imagined "mushroom clouds" over America from Iraq. Usama bin Laden is STILL a free man. The anthrax mailer is STILL unknown. Bush policies since 9-11 have increased the threat of terrorism with terrorist attacks worldwide increasing in number seven fold since the invasion of Iraq.

5. Don't forget condi couldn't imagine planes being used to attack us, and
yet NORAD was practicing for that very event on 9/11.
