Pearls of Wisdom from Ken Mehlman
He's on NPR right now trying to promote repugs as caring people (lying to get the black and hispanic vote).

A woman caller asked him what the party will do to help poor people.

He told her their goal is to bring poor people into the middle class, make them able to attain the American dream. The way to do this is to further limit taxation, regulation and litigation.

1. Talk of the nation?
or News & Notes? It makes me soooo sick to hear repubs on npr's news¬es. The hosts love it, you can tell too... :sarcasm: They get that memo from Ken "Fair and Balanced" Tomlinson and have to book the RNC chair.

4. Talk of the Nation
Have a listen if you can - it's actually quite funny listening to ol' Ken trying to paint the repugs as caring for the poor.

8. Readily achieved by kicking the props from under the
middle class.
If 95% of the populace are all in the peon class-voilla! Everybody's instantly in the middle class. (cf-The Rumsfeld school of Economics and Higher Mathematics)

6. Education, preventive healthcare, job opportunites...those are worthless
in bringing the poor up to the middle class.

7. What they really need
Edited on Mon Aug-22-05 02:04 PM by Moochy
... is to figure out what group should be hated. "Marrying Gays" were the right target for the last election, since they were secretly planning their gay agenda to force everyone to divorce their straight spouses, and marry their same-sex drinking buddy. :eyes:

It's all about knowing whom to scare!
