WTF??? Fox is blasting new Iraq Constitution
Shep Smith and Jed Babbit being really critical of the new Constitution.

Even implying that this undercuts the whole premise of "spreadin Democracy" in the Middle East.

If even Fox can't be cheerleaders....

I can feel it. Too many people are speaking out! The 5 year media blackout seems to be slowly fading away...

Peace.

10. They haven;t had time to concot the spin yet
Edited on Mon Aug-22-05 02:53 PM by Armstead
It's kind of interesting to watch, as their honest reactions are coming out.

I'm sure the Fox Newsmanagement team is working overtime to make lemonaid out of this lemon, but in the meantime, it's kind of refreshing to see Fox have to wing it with something resembling and honest reaction without the safety net of spinmeisters.

11. That won't start until the 10 O'Clock news -- they gotta wait for
O'Reilly and Rush, etc., to start the "Clinton's fault" meme.

26. I have been thinking about that
He has to know that these speeches are not going to work anymore. They will get desperate, wait and see. We half-joke about a new alert or attack as his numbers fall, but I wonder, what could they be thinking about right now? I'm happy but also a little nervous, knowing what a devious mind Rove has.
And then I think perhaps it is simply too late. They are going down, and there is, finally, nothing they can do about it.

9. media whores
Shep, Oreilly, Hume, Barnes and kondracke will always have a mouth full of W.

But they are media whores at heart.

With chimpy tanked at 36% popularity, maybe fox has decided not to give the chimp his requisite, hourly blowjob on national TV.

I guess faux is getting emails from Utah accussing them of being too liberal.

back away from the tv and put down the kool aid cup. This is a trick they sometimes use to get the victim to pick up the cup. The story will change very soon.

13. The "powers that be" are cutting the Stupid Monkey(tm) loose
I knew this was going to happen sometime. Seriously, why have a mentally ill, incompetent, petulant, drug-addicted idiot play your President when you can easily find some he-man actor somewhere who can play the part much better?

Even the most easily led idiots in this country are getting hip to what Bush is all about. He can't "sell it" anymore. He's finally becoming "expendable".

23. I figured they would just pretend it didn't exist
This doesn't just undermine the democracy justification. I think most folks realize that creating "Iran 2.0" undermines the new "Struggle Against Extremism" marketing as well.
