Could "rogue" elements have wanted an attack on Clinton's watch?
Edited on Mon Aug-22-05 07:47 PM by DeepModem Mom
A major attack? A cabal MIHOP/LIHOP to discredit Clinton? Has this been considered, as the "Able Danger" mystery deepens? Sort of a Carter/hostages situation, a disaster on Clinton's watch, that would necessitate the election of a Republican President? But, somehow, the attack didn't materialize until later?

2. They did attack on Clinton's watch
Edited on Mon Aug-22-05 07:28 PM by Chocolatebison
It's just that they attacked a destroyer in Yemen.

Clinton did as much as he could without creating a world war like the jackass we have now wants to do.

3. No - The PNAC wasn't in power back then

PNAC = Planes knocking down buildings & trains blowing up.

Then, by golly, taking over the Caspian Sea suddenly gets all kinds of support from the retarded American public.

within the shadowy spook/intelligence world. Or the military -- at that time, I've been told the military hated Clinton.

5. Not really - Everyone, including Dad Bush, kept
the PNAC crazies dispursed and at arms length w/in their administrations.

After they stole their first election in 2000 they rose into positions of ultimate power and installed their little mongolois monkey man to pretend he was president.

6. "Seven Days in May"?
Haven't there been indications that elements of the military were trying to do Clinton in from the very beginning of his administration? Rather like the CIA and Carter, only worse...I've had people tell me that it was almost a "Seven Days in May" mentality right from the start, because of the gay issue and the feeling that he was a weakling, so the generals "had" to take action on their own. (Though--to be fair--there's evidence of similar actions as Nixon's strange Presidency wound down towards its finish, too--) Does anyone know anything about this? In any event, I wouldn't put anything beyond these people--look at the October Surprise, and the still-unanswered questions about Carter's rescue fiasco at Desert One...
