ALL FORMS OF BIRTH CONTROL ARE A SIN!

Heard today on Relevant Radio. (tax exempt radio)

Relevant Radio is a catholic propaganda channel. How can progressives hear this drivel, and not run screaming from the church? The host, a woman was telling the caller that they need to use church approved alternate birth control methods. Sounded like the old withdraw method under a fancy new banner. :eyes: Of course, for a small fee they would be happy to send the caller a booklet to explain the new methods.

17. You are right
Check out the story of Onan, who was to impregnate the widow of his brother, in accordance with Jewish law. Instead, he spilled his seed on the ground, and got punished for it.

8. Yeah I heard some of that "network"
last week in Wisconsin. If all forms of birth control are a sin, then does that mean the human race will die out? I mean we all know the way babies are made. No sex, no babies. I have questioned a number of Catholics on this and have yet to recieve a satisfactory answer.

His name is Sam, and he's a great kid.

My wife de-Catholicized shortly after the C-section.

26. I think it's OK
if your balls get crushed, or something.

A relative of my wife married a guy who had had his balls shot off in WWII. She knew so little about sex (Catholic, natch) that she didn't know she wouldn't get pregnant from kissing or whatever else they were doing. When she found out why she was childless a year later, she divorced him. The screwy thing is that the church wouldn't let her take communion anymore, despite the fact that this is a classic case of non-consummation.

16. Withdrawal isn't acceptable either. The church only
recognizes rhythm as an acceptable BC method. If it comes to pass that our country bans birth control, I say women should ban sex until they change the laws. Remember the Lysistrata?

:-) No really, it will take the progressive guys to make the lawgivers change the law. So they have to be hungry too.

25. withdrawl isn't vatican-approved
They approve of Natural Family Planning which determines the fertile period based on physiological signs (typically basal temperature, viscocity of cervical mucus and position of the cervix/openingof the cervical os.)

I don't think anybody outside of my relationship has any right to dicate my birth control methods (one of many reasons I'm not Catholic anymore) but I use NFP and it's awesome. At times I wish teh celibate old farts in robes would shut up about it because thier endorsement discredits a really great birth control method. :grr:
