Poll question: Sorry But... Here's A 'We Told You This Would Happen' (Iraq) Poll !!!
I could list the myriad reasons discussed, protests attended, letters written etc. before this illegal crappy war started, but the fight here at home is just warming up. So let's just get a sense of the DU at this moment in the Iraq debacle !!!

3. I knew it was a bad idea...
I thought they were manipulative pricks... I had no idea they were incompetent also.

The incompetency is astounding!!!

And the blood of thousands is on the non-com-poops hands.

No less than prison for them, say I!

5. I was in my teens when Vietnam was going on. I did not realize
what was going on there. Having gotten a lot of information about what's going on in Iraq, I now understand probably a lot of what was going on in Vietnam. I have also learned way too much about the murder and injustice that my country has done the last 40 years. We will go down in history as one of the worst foreign policy country in this era.

6. I wish I could say I was surprised...
but I'm not. It's pretty much exactly what I expected and what I told people and no one wanted to believe me.

7. Same here. I was a recent Republican defector and told everyone
there weren't WMDs in Iraq. No one believed me.

9. Yeah Mythsaje And Ladyhawk... We Were All So Full Of Shit Back Then...
remember??? NOBODY BELIEVED US!!!

And believe me, I seriously take no pride in predicting the current morass. But apparently every other generation has to get smacked in the face with the same 2 by 4 over, and over, and over again...

Vietnam was supposed to be the tipping point lesson for war, but no...

10. Poignant picture.
I wish I had wised up earlier in life, but I had a few strikes against me. I can sort of understand why my family is so reluctant to think in new ways, but it's been hard on me to feel...well...rejected. :( It's quite a shock to learn that practically everything you once believed is wrong.

The human race has to change or we really are going to off ourselves.
