Bush Backers Amass to Counter 'Peace Mom'
Of course, they FAIL to tell us how many pro-war activists have climbed on the "Blind Faith in Bush Bus." I'm betting this will be a 12 person caravan by the time it gets to Texas!

Conservative Activists Rally in Sheehan's Hometown
By KATHLEEN HENNESSEY, AP
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Aug. 23) - Supporters of President Bush clashed with anti-war activists as they wound their way through California after rallying in the hometown of Cindy Sheehan, the mother who started a protest camp outside Bush's Texas ranch.

Conservative activists and military families embarked on the tour Monday, calling it "You don't speak for me, Cindy!" A verbal confrontation erupted when the caravan arrived in Sacramento and was met by anti-war protesters chanting for Bush to bring home the troops.

Sheehan supporter Dan Elliott, 71, confronted caravan members by waving a sign reading "Death is not support" and heckling one of the tour's organizers as she addressed the crowd.

The pro-Bush caravan planned rallies in several California cities before heading to Crawford, where Sheehan opponents have formed their own camp.

3. The Media likes a good fight
Takes some of the fun out of it if they have to admit that one side can only get a tiny percentage of the other.

Or, to put it another way, Godzilla vs. Bambi is a joke. Godzilla vs. King Kong draws in the crowds. Which do you want on your movie screens.

4. It's not about Cindy. It's about Bush
And the American people know it this time. I'm betting that all this will do is bring more media and more coverage to Bush's hideout at the Imperial Pig Farm Upon Crawford, and that no matter what happens it will LOOK BAD for him. Because it is bad. Because he did lie to get us in to war. Because he is the head of a failed administration that is bringing disgrace upon our land. Because people are seeing through the BushCo propaganda. Because the truth will out. Eventually.
