Would a TRUE Christian proactively call for an assassination?!
Hitler, maybe.

But as Chavez done what Hitler did? Where's the proof? And why parallel Chavez to Communist China? Especially when it's more than clear the US and its interests have no qualms in supporting China!

Also, read this Time article. It is using Leftism, leftist, and other left-like words to mix liberals in with Communists (like Communist China, I hope the author of this article - Tim Padgett - doesn't support offshoring to China...)

6. Hardly. Indeed, TRUE Christians a hard to find.
Everyone is too busy praying and kissing up to the Almighty Dollar to care.

7. Bingo. The double-standard scares me... especially if (or when?!)
other countries leaders start openly saying the same against *. :scared:

Things are getting worse and Chavez isn't the problem. Certainly not when compared to China (the country repukes both love and hate but clearly love more since we're the backbone to their economy, and that's going to fail too...)

8. no- but would a 'true' 'CHRISTian' declare war on terror? or
refuse to comfort the grieving? Or turn a blind eye to suffering, hunger, and injustice while storing up for himself treasures on earth?

"Jesus wept."
i believe He's sobbing now.

12. I happen to be a Christian. (but I can't argue your point...)
I've read enough of the Bible and not just the Old Testament.

The Xians you refer to prefer parroting quotes out of the old testament rather than READING for meaning and being objective regarding translations and potential errors thereof. Never mind how they merely parrot what favorite snippets they do bother to read. Never mind how they don't bother reading of Jesus' life; even Mel Gibbon prefers making movies showing Jesus as a human punching bag for 2 hours, totally ignoring his actual LIFE - which was composed of being giving and caring. Mel Gibbon is another twatted lunatic perverting things for his own benefit... Indeed, if I made millions by distorting Jesus's life, I'd be ashamed...

14. Possibly yes
A weird answer perhaps, but the thread title reminded me of a tibetan buddhist work where someone asked the teacher "is it ok to take the life of another?"

The answer was "if you are on a ship with 400 people and the captain is planning on wrecking the boat and killing all aboard and you do not stop him then you are responsible the 400 lives lost as much as the captain because you did not stop him" (this assuming the only way to stop him was to kill him - and yes I paraphrased).

So if one views that an assassination would save the lives of others they may say it would be wrong not to call for it....
