Legality of cell phone roaming changes in your coverage area. |
|
Why is it that Sprint and other cell phone providers can charge roaming charges in areas they claim to have full service in? The map below show Sprint's coverage map for Ohio, as you can see Columbus (where I'm located) and it's surrounding area is solid dark green aka in Sprint PCS coverage area yet at times it's roaming and i get charged 50 cents a minute. How are they allowed to deceive the public like this? Class action lawsuit anybody? http://www1.sprintpcs.com/explore/coverage/ServiceAreaDetail.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1471607&CURRENT_USER%3C%3EATR_SCID=ECOMM&CURRENT_USER%3C%3EATR_PCode=None&CURRENT_USER%3C%3EATR_cartState=group&bmUID=1124827398455
