Ann Coulter surpassed Pat Robertson as "The Worst Person in the World"
:D

Keith Olberman gave her that honor, citing this:

Ann Coulter calls New Yorkers Cowards

Atrios found this trash from Ann: "...it's far preferable to fight them in the streets of Baghdad than in the streets of New York (where the residents would immediately surrender)."

Can you imagine what's in that noggin' for her to call the police, firemen and the people who live in New York cowards.

Ed Cone says: "Never mind the courage and character New Yorkers have demonstrated in the face of terror. People in the city tend to vote for people other than the ones Coulter supports, so she calls them cowards."

20. And a 12th for Frank Luntz, the pollster.
Coulter is just spouting Frank Luntz talking points with her own snotty, vicious extras.

From The Washington Post of June 20, 2004:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A54906-2004Jun19.html

"Luntz, according to a strategy paper that fell into the hands of Democrats, says minor changes in language used by politicians can lead to major differences in voter perceptions -- turning a potential liability into an asset.

"Among his suggested talking points, in the nine-page section on Iraq and terrorism:

• It's not the war in Iraq -- it's the war on terror. "You will not find any instance in which we suggest that you use the actual word 'preemption' or the phrase 'the War in Iraq' to communicate your policies to the American public. To do so is to undermine your message from the start," it said. "Your efforts are about 'the principles of prevention and protection' in the greater 'War on Terror.' "

• Remember: better there than here. " 'Prevention at home can require aggressive action abroad' is the best way to link a principle the public supports with the policies of the Administration," it said. " 'It is better to fight the War on Terror on the streets of Baghdad than on the streets of New York or Washington.' "

The war in Iraq will no more prevent terrorist attacks stateside than it will win hearts and minds around the world. Indeed, the war in Iraq has placed more people in danger and certainly didn't save the Spaniards or the British from terror. I wish people knew just how manipulative, cynical, and mendacious Luntz and his ilk are.

Yeah, what do THEY know about terrorism?

Uh....that maybe there wuld have BEEN no 9-11 if Kerry's BCCI investigation hadn't been blocked by BushInc at every turn.

10. You gotta love this shit. The WHOLE RATIONALE for all the effed up crap
going on in Iraq, is because of something that happened IN NEW YORK on 9/11!!

So they PIMP that crap endlessly, but since New Yorkers are BLUE and have enough SENSE to vote against all this crap, now they're gonna be nasty and call 'em names!

Then they'll turn right around and pimp 9/11 with a tear in their eye to support more war. Then insult DEM voting New Yorkers.

Kinda makes your head spin eh?

35. I know. Remember Bush in 2004?
They used footage from the aftermath of the attacks in CAMPAIGN commercials (in effect, using dead bodies), yet the administration doesn't want flag-draped coffins of American servicemen even seen on the news.

The GOP went through all that trouble to arrange to have the Republican National Convention in NYC, and then Bush barely even set foot in the city. He gave his acceptance speech and then beat it for the swing state of Pennsylvania (Fortunately, PA went blue).

These monsters have no shame.

...it's really stupid to call New York City residents cowards. They showed incredible courage. I doubt Ann would have showed any courage that day if she had been there. I can hear her now: "I don't want to help anyone! I'll break a nail!"
