The deception of linking Iraq with the "war on terror"... |
|
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 08:49 PM by Postman
Bush regurgitates this mantra time and again. As if Iraq was a card carrying member of Al-Qaida.
Another tired phrase he likes to use that needs to be rebutted is practically an admission by him that Iraq was NOT a threat. It goes something like this...
"Sept. the 11 taught us that we need to eliminate threats to our security before they materialize"...
Well then, why don't you just declare war on the world because, though they may not be a threat now, they may be in the future, so you better go kill them before they even think about becoming a threat...
Is not this the policy of a madman?
Where are the Smedley Butler's?

3. It is actually a war on the Russian oil contracts and French oil |

contracts with Iraq... and a war on truth... and a war on sanity.
An added byproduct is that we now, even after the massacre in '91, we now officially have another country wishing many of us dead.
