To Pat Robertson: You can fool some of the people all the time...
... and all the people some of the time, but you can't hide what a know-nothing shill for the Neo-Cons you've become.

I remember watching the 700 Club in college as an intellectual exercise for a poli-sci class and thinking, why isn't this as transparent to everyone as it is to me?

Of course, I'd been immunized already by studying a special course on the relationship between the holocaust and the propaganda of the Nazi party, so it was fairly easy to recognize the familiar Goebbels techniques he was employing. Robertson's blatant call for an assassination exposes the Neo-Con agenda for what it really is, a doctrine based on the acquisition of power at any price. No principle is sacred, no law of man or god inviolable if you support the agenda.

This is not about making the United States an empire or making the US secure. It is about making a select group of already rich people richer, as Robertson's comments about oil reveal. It is about making a select group of elites all-powerful and above the laws of man.

These neo-cons are no better than the Nazis of yore, and use many of the same techniques. It should surprise no one that 20% of those polled support Robertson's statements. There are always those bootlickers who cow-tow to the powerful, there are always those who you can fool "all the time".

But the naked truth, once again, is out there for all to see. It is up to us to have the eyes to see it and recognize it in its infancy.

4. Any list that anyone has the time to compile is always useful. We must
get organized on our own because our leaders are playing by antiquated rules of Washington.

We must start listing and publicizing all the laws he is breaking (and is allowed to break by the Republican Party)starting with two biggies:

. By calling for the assassination he broke a law that was quoted verbatim on DU yesterday (if anyone has it).

. He is breaking the law that exempts him from paying taxes - the law states that that the tax exempt status does not apply to politicians and political activities Not only is he all about politics - he is blatantly partisan.

He breaks the laws of this country that are not on the books - lying to his audience, smearing his enemies on public airwaves, spreading hate and bigoty, and becoming wealthy off of poor people. He should also be investigated by the government for his gold business in Africa and his alignment with and defense of brutal dictators for his profit.

Why should we have faith in organized religion or government elected officials who never enforce the laws of this country?

How much more do we need to look away to satisfy the law breakers who pontificate about their greatness and spread heaven and hell hate?

5. I personally just don't know how much more we can say..
These RW bastards, have long gone overboard. The MSM really doesn't give a shit, and frankly I don't think most of the American people really care, many actually probably agree with him.
