Bush gives a good speech
The probloem is it's the same speech over and over again.

And it never changes, even as reality changes.

"The Iraqis today are working out their differences through the negotiating process, instead of by the gun."

Um,er.....If that were true, why do we still have to be there? And what about all those gunds and car bombs?

3. really george...."heaviest street fighting the capital has seen in months"
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Dozens of insurgents armed with rocket-propelled grenades and assault rifles attacked Iraqi police checkpoints in western Baghdad on Wednesday in some of the heaviest street fighting the capital has seen in months.

Several loud explosions shook the Hay al-Jamia district of the city and at least six police vehicles were set ablaze as a group of around 40 insurgents, some with their faces masked, launched a brazen daylight assault, police and witnesses said.

"It was raining bullets," said a police official, who said a dozen police vehicles had been sent in to try to evacuate those under attack, but had failed against the onslaught of gunfire.

Such bold guerrilla assaults raise questions over the capabilities of Iraqi forces, who are expected to take over security from the 138,000 U.S. troops in the country.

4. We are heading toward a Civil War in this country, the hate on the
Bush lovers side is so strong they would do whatever Bush told them to do.

You are looking at your future prison guards.

8. I don't like what you had to say ...
"You are looking at your future prison guards."

However, I believe this will become fact ... we will see these people on our streets, in our towns and homes when the "round-up" call comes for martial law.

This has been my fear since 99/00 when "*" decided to run for Pres.

I told people then (and lost friends) that he will have us in a war within two years of his taking office, bankrupt this country, and under marshal law in four years.

I guess I was 'wrong'.

Hi to you fellow Texan! :hi:

5. I counted about three fewer head bobs than usual
He still has his hunch and bob going, where he hunches his shoulders and pans the room while bobbing his head. I don't know if a few fewer head bobs is a good thing in his case or not.

11. Enough people that he's the president
May not be your taste or my taste, but he's good at what he does, which is to cheerlead for a particular approach to the world.

7. You know, these idiots need to all get on the same page
they are falling apart. Cheney: Insurgency is in it's last throes. Bush: As the Iraqi's stand up we will stand down. Rumsfeld: We could be in Iraq another 12 years.

9. I wish he'd stop yelling when he gives speeches.
If I wanted a grown man to yell at me incoherently I'd go visit my dad and smoke in front of him.
