The Declaration of Independence from Conservatism

We are tired of the Conservative (AKA Authoritarian) Movement.

We are tired of their homophobia.

We are tired of their bigotry.

We are tired of their racism.

We are tired of their misogyny.

We are tired of their hypocrisy.

We are tired of their propaganda.

We are tired of their fear mongering.

We are tired of their ideas of 'reform' which is nothing but destruction.

We are tired of their wants to roll back the clock of human rights and civil rights.

They say that we Liberals offer nothing, that is untrue. They offer nothing but poison and pain.

The Authoritarian Movement or the Conservative Movement is adding a new requirement to be a good American. It seems as though one must be loyal to Bush to be a good American. This must not stand.

The Declaration of Independence states that it is our duty to discard a despotic government. It is now the time to utilize that principle from the Declaration of Independence.

Therefore, we the People, the people who know that 'allegiance to Bush' is not a prerequisite to be a Patriot and to be an American do solemnly declare that the Far Right has assumed despotic levels of power and must be stopped.
