How far will the RW'ers go? |

You are all probably too young to remember the attempted coup against FDR. But, here it is. http://demopedia.democraticunderground.com/index.php/FDR_coup_attempt

1. Killing tens of thousands of innocent people doesn't bother them. |
|
Turning America over to corporations didn't make them bat an eye. There is nothing they won't do.

2. For power, they will go as far as they can |

I wasn't around at the time but I have read the history on it, luckily for FDR that the one General they picked was loyal to the country. I seriously doubt that any of the general officers that are serving currently are loyal to the country.
All of those generals and admirals were retired not long after General Shinseki, and Rumsfeld surrounded himself with officers that care nothing for this country or the U.S. Constitution.

4. Not even that far back - Operation Northwoods - scary shit! |
|
Unbelievable what fanatical RWers will do to their own countrymen to instigate a war!
I always wondered what John Glenn made of the plan to make him a sacrificial lamb. I never read any public comment he had on it.
Especially scary part - it had the WRITTEN APPROVAL of ALL the JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF. :scared:

6. Makes you rethink 9/11 |

Gulf of Tonkin incident is another example of how the US government can conspire its people into a war. Hitler's invasion of Poland was also staged. Prisoners were dressed in German uniforms and then reported killed by Polish forces, which 'justified'Germany's invasion. There are plenty of other historical conspiracies for war...Sinking of the ship Maine..etc. Maybe one day we will find out about 9/11.... People have the capacity to justify anything

Interesting that Ford, Rockefeller and Dulles "disavowed Hitler and Mussolini only after their atrocities grew to indefensible levels." What about the Killer Clown and Cheney and the rest? What's defensible about what they're doing? What has to happen? One shudders to think.

current corporate state remembles the guilded age a lot, IMO. If we had a Dem or GOPer who opposed the PNAC - the current form of that cabal I have no doubt he (or she) would be a target. As for how far they could go if if left unchecked; I woulnd't doubt that we could all be rounded up and hauled off one day. They already have started with kiddie propoganda to turn a whole generation against Liberalism and the Left (talking @ "There's a Liberal under my bed.")
