what is the closest MAJOR AIRPORT TO CRAWFORD? i tried to look it up and im getting frustrated:banghead:

3. It's about the same, DFW or Austin but DFW has more flights.

4. You can fly into Waco
but it is usually cheaper to fly into Austin or Dallas/Ft. Worth and drive down/up to Crawford. The mileage difference to Crawford is only 20 or 25 miles between the 2 major cities, Austin being slightly closer. I would decide based on airline rates and rental car rates. However, If you want to fly into Waco I'll give you a ride to the Peace House and help out any way I can.

6. Do you mean Civilian or Military,
The Texas State Technical College still gets it's share of Military Aircraft on it's runways. That is quite near. Civilian would probably be DFW.

8. The only way you can catch a military flight is 'Space-A' if you are
active duty on leave with orders, in uniform, or if you are retired military. I suspect they might not be so free letting people fly 'Space-A' (space available) to this area right around this time but I don't know.

7. Dallas has 2 airports. DAL = Love Field, DFW = Dallas Ft Worth -eom
