Michael Savage was slobbering mad tonight....
Driving home from work, I usually turn over to Phil Hendrie for a good laugh or two, but tonight it did not seem interesting, so I switched over to Michael Savage. Is there any person in America more full of hate and venom? He was saying that the "left" in this country should be in internment camps with the barbed wire fences and medical marijuana be given to them just to keep them happy. He said we should bring the sedition laws back and the left should be thrown in jail, because about 80-90% of Americans agreed with Robertson's idea about "assassination"? Is he really insane??

niche. Simple as that. It's amazing what people will do for money.

3. Yeah, he's insane, and "slobbering mad" is SOP for him.
The only difference between him and the strung-out meth user who harangues people on the corner is that somehow Savage acquired a mike and a following.

No question - he's crazy and should be thrown in jail for incitement.

Just is full of that justice for all, freedom and equality we all think it should be about. I couldn't believe anyone was a bigger jerk than Rush, but he was.

6. His vitriol expands in direct proportion to the percentage his ratings
shrink. He is just a ratings whore who hates pretty much everyone, and I am reasonably certain that the syphillis he has ignored since the 70's is finally eating away at his brain.

However, anyone who would do that kind of act to make a buck is insane in my eyes.

11. An insight into how the 'puke mind works.
And people wonder why I left the party.

I have both a brain and a conscience. I'm morally opposed to following der Fuerer.

No doubt if Bush falls further in the polls, his little BushBots will try this crap because they really believe it should be done. They've done more to destroy the United States than any group EVER has, including the enemy in every war we've ever fought.

'pukes :scared: me.

Edited on Wed Aug-24-05 11:49 PM by marbuc
He is an extreme example, but I am convinced many righty talkers spew what they do purely for entertainment, and the Ditto heads, Coulter supporters et al. eat it up like the gospel. I laugh to keep from crying.

20. The right wing elitists like Coulter, Rush, & Savage
infuse the naive Bushbots with vitriolic hate and paranoia.

Great marketing technique for their books, etc. The snakeoil salesmen have nothing on them.

40. I will have to dismiss Hannity from this category
He is just a "Freeper gone wild," and in my estimation is a true believer. I think the others are incredibly irresponsible with their position and infuence, to the point of wrecklessness. When Ann Coulter suggests we should "nuke the middle east," her followers take her at face value and start getting other crazy ideas that pose a threat to Muslims as well as others that can be mistaken for muslims by the untrained eye.

I can't tell you how many times I log on here, and I read..

..."I never listen to Rush" (or whoever)... or "I never tune into Fox"

Then they go onto say :eyes: .....

..."but tonight while channel surfing, I accidently yada, yada, yada....

I feel for you Kentuck!!!! Hopefully some day they'll link you guys up to some decent stations!

Do you at least get Big Eddie Schultz on the Jones Radio Network? Eddie ROCKS!!! :headbang:

the more recent RW station has attacked the other for not being RW enuff........so now both have news breaks from FOX news

so we get Savage, Ingraham, Dr Laura, Rush, Hannity, Snow, O'Reilly, Bork, Beck plus some locals......as KFAC 1170am says, they're fighting wrong with the right 24/7

18. let me tell you something kentuck
I was surfing the radio in my car one night and I caught Mr. Savage waxing on about airport workers who had turned in a couple of pilots who tested positive for alcohol - Mr. Savage was decrying the workers "narking" on the pilots, saying the pilots' careers were ruined and that he, Mr. Savage, would have no problem boarding a plane where the pilots had "had a few beers". Is he insane? My guess is the answer to that question would be a big, fat f***ing YES.

These guys are getting money under the table from Bushler to say certain things... he's describing REX 84 being used to imprison Democrats. i.e. Bushler's dipping his toe in the water to see what the reaction would be to it and/or to get people used to the idea.

25. What him and the other rw media freaks are
worried about is the fact that old pattie might lose his television show because of his hateful remarks. That leaves them next in line, if we succeed. Sign those petitions to get pattie robertson off the air. There must be something illegal about that kind of talk. My 13 year old grandson said that if anyone said that about bushie they would be in jail so fast they would not know what hit them.

28. Eliminationist language is all the right-wing rage.
And it shouldn't be taken lightly.

Rush has been spouting 'liberal genocide' for years. Weenie regularly looses his marbles screaming about who should be 'sent away' next.

Coulter and Maulkin are in the rhetorical stable. There are many 'mainstream' mouthpieces that have been priming the pump for internment/elimination.

The media right-wingers coincide with the skin-heads and the neo-nazis. I don't think this can, nor should be fluffed off as 'Weenine ranting.' This language is being inundated in our political discourse.

Just the other day, Pat Robertson felt secure enough to openly advocate the assassination of a President.

Killing -- Iraqis, fellow Americans, or other Presidents is becoming everyday language in this country. This is NOT good, and should not be excused.

David Neiwert writes about this stuff (on vacation).
