what is a Federal Scientist?

last nite, about 6:30 I was surfing channels on the TV (muted) and stopped at a news program showing a man speaking and the underneath title said he was a Federal Scientist.

the criminal bushgang has stopped calling america a democracy. they now call us a Republic.

so I guess now we call anyone who works for the govt. a Federal worker?

is this another new reality we have to adjust to?

1. A scientist that works for the federal government.

What is so strange about that? There have been "Federal Scientists" for quite some time. Whether they work for the DoD, the FDA, or the EPA; they are federal scientists. ie they work on some study on the pay of the federal government. They may be researchers, technicians, or professors/doctors.

And we ARE a (democratic) republic by definition. This means we have democratically elected representatives run the government. This is a fact, not a party or wing-nut's spin. A fact.

There really has never been a true Democracy (A government run totally by the people.) It just has never happened.

2. These days a "Federal Scientist" could be anybody
They don't even have to believe in science or have a degree in their specialty.

Loyalty to Bushco is the only pre-requisite.

5. Ummmm... America IS a republic...

Democracy is mob rule.

The exact term to describe America is a Constitutional Republic.

Or if you like, Representative Democracy.

There is a huge different between a democracy, and a representative democracy. If this were a true democracy, you and I would vote on every issue the congress/senate vote on.
