BUSH: "We will finish the task that they gave their lives for."
What twisted logic: with no W.M.D., no link to 9/11 and no democracy, now we have to keep killing people and have our kids killed because so many of our kids have been killed already? Talk about a vicious circle: the killing keeps justifying itself.

2. see, your kids have to die
because otherwise I'll have to tell those people that their child died for nothing. That wouldn't be fair to them, now, would it?

8. Indeed, Sir
The mind wobbles....

But that really is the mental process involved, and it deserves to be stripped bare and paraded down the street to the jeers of a crowd. Anyone who allows themselves to be imposed upon by it ought to have their affairs in the hands of a public Guardian on grounds of manifest metal incompetence.

"There is a saying, 'If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.' That is nonesense. It ought to read, 'If at first you don't succeed, quit, quit at once.'"

3. It's the American way.........
keep throwing good money after bad and keep throwing young lives at a lost cause. How this cretin can garner support even in the 30 percentile is beyond me. What a loathsome creature.

6. "We will finish the task that they gave their lives for."

Do I write that poorly?

Who is we?

Finish - Finish what, how can you finish something when you do not know what the task is?

It's like "How can you get lost when you don't where you are going?"

Which is what they are doing.

Do not give a task, so you can never say you have failed.

Say you're winning and the dummies go USA, USA, USA without asking what has been won.

Lewis Carroll could not have done a better job

Turning Iraq from a secular dictatorship to a fundamentalist theocracy?

bankrupting America by getting them bogged down in Iraq like the Soviets in Afghanistan?
