Which is the point. When I come to this forum -- with limited time -- I shouldn't have to spend ten mintues of it trying to figure out what someone is talking about. Being a little more forthcoming is considerate to EVERYONE.

But this forum is also not all about only your needs. Yes, posting a link immediately would be more helpful and considerate. But you could also ask for more information and a link in a way that's considerate as well, without having to be snarky about it.

It's really becoming more than irritating to trip across mystery threads that are simply dropped on various fora without the slightest hint of what the posters are talking about. To do this is, I believe, highly inconsiderate so if my response is snarky there's a reason for it.

And as you'll find from reading several other posts in this thread, I wasn't the only one who hadn't a clue what this was about.

Now, as my forum time grows short, I have other threads to peruse. Thank you for your most helpful lesson in forum etiquette. Perhaps you could spare some for the poster of this thread.
