Republican may be "forced" to vote Democrat
every week or so I venture over to USA Today to see the letters to the leaders, especially those to the Shrub. The negative letters far and away now outnumber those positive ones, and those generally appear from the south or midwest and almost always invoke a Christian God in some way. This is an interesting one...

"Do something soon or i will be forced to vote for god forbid the democrats in the next election and i feel many more republicans will do the same."

2. they always say that
Then, our candidate gets so effectively demonized by the RW corporate media machine that they hold their noses & vote Bush as the lesser evil.

3. Hmmm... there's a republican that wants the government to help him
isn't that special?

The fact is, their own "I'll take care of myself" mentality has gotten us into the shape we're in by letting them pick American families off one at a time.

4. Alls fine and good
I'm not sure we want or need them. They will just crow on and on how they saved us, not the democrats.

5. Nonsense.
Once they get their cognitive dssonance sufficiently under control to actually pull the lever for a Democrat, there's no going back for a lot of them.
