Can We Bury The "9/11 Changed Everything" Mantra Now?
Let's face it, it's run its course and is in danger of assuming "the dog ate my homework" status.

Maybe the new mantra should be "the revelations of bush's lies have changed everything."

1. Oh God, I hope so!
Along with the "never forget" mantra!

I guess that one's okay, though because for an instant there I almost did forget. Whew!

7. I Buried It On September 12th
Nothing changed that day, except that a few ostriches with their heads in the sand realized that some people out there really, really hate us. Anyone with a brain in their head already knew that.

8. Yes we can!
I distinctly remember a lot of media commentary directly after 9/11 about what a changed world it was, that before that day, we were all engrossed in trivia - Britney Spears, the Gary Condit thing...

Well, at this point, aren't we all pretty up on Kevin Federline, ol' Brit's impending momhood, etc?

And what was the Gary Condit / Chandra Levy thing for a while but an early form of Missing Hottie drama? (Have you heard that they're looking to start up another cable news channel? MHN: Missing Hottie Network: "All missing hotties, all the time!")

Oh yeah, 9/11 changed EVERYTHING --

9. How about our own mantra? 12/12 changed everything.
America and the world have been fucked ever since.
