Hello repugs and freepers. It must hurt to know that the Dixie Chicks, ..
Edited on Thu Aug-25-05 04:44 PM by Botany
..... France, and the U.N. were right and bush was dead fucking wrong on
Iraq.

Dixie Chicks ....... He makes me ashamed of being from Texas.

France ......... Any war in Iraq will make the situation worse and destabilize
the Mid East.

U.N. ........ Give the weapons inspectors time; So far NO WMDs have turned up.

It is simple to be simple. Put down the Kool Aid and detox for a while then
try to learn that the world is more complex and things are not just black or
white.

9. NFI... I just remember "I've never been so ashamed to be an American"
and similar lines off of various songs in Bedtime for Democracy.

He was saying it about the Latin American death squads of course, but you get the idea.

I have no idea what he's done since 1986 or thereabouts.

11. Ironically
I heard that the band members for DK were suing each other over royalties. :P

In case you're wondering. LARD is a side group made up of Biafra and the band Ministry. They're actually quite good together!

12. That sounds very interesting. I like Ministry, too.
Thanks for cluing me in; this is something I'd have been very, very interested in if I'd only heard of it.

14. It goes back to before we can figure it out it's going on
Smedley Butler was complaining about this stuff going on in 1909 and so on, and people think 1898 is an instance of it, too, and we're looking at over a century of it, not just "over a decade."

Most people oddly limit their attempts to trace the history of it to immediately after WWII.

5. Funny though "they" manged to get people talking about .....
..... Michael Moore and not about F 9-11. Just like they want to
get people talking about Cindy Sheenan and not her message.

Wrong as the are they do know how to manipulate the message.

7. Clearly detailing that they have nothing to say.
Noisemakers and dittoheads rarely do. Their only pride is in being loud and saying nothing.

10. Only Keith Obermamn (in MSM) has picked up on the fact
the anti Cindy demonstrators are just republican operatives. I could
swear that I heard some are from Move America Forward ......
Nathan Sproul's vote rigging front group that acted like they were
America Coming Together.

attack and distract ...... Rove Rules

4. Good Luck!
But getting Right Wingers to admit when they are WRONG is quite a chore. All they do is lash out instead of admit error.
