Bush has done more to harm the US readiness and security for years to
than any person in modern history. Thanks to this unwise, unnecessary invasion and occupation of Iraq, the "all volunteer" military will become a thing of the past. Enlisting during peacetime and signing up when you believe that your country will only ask the ultimate sacrifice when it is absolutely necessary to protect your homeland is one thing but expecting enlistments to support an unprovoked immoral war is something totally different.

And by the way, a mother of four living military soldiers is no comparison to a mother of ONE dead soldier. Sorry, but that is how I feel.

1. Yes..pre-bush* we were the unchallenged super power who could kick
butt with one hand while we rocked babies with the other..no more..now 'they' know we are at best a paper tiger..and at worst incompetant boobs who could not fight our way out of a paper city...not our troops fault..the fault of the people running this war and the idiocy behind it! :grr:
