Has Tweety Adopted Paul HACKETT? |
|
Theory: Tweety is green with envy as he contemplates KKKarl, kicking himself for not having achieved that kind of power and status in molding and directing a puppet candidate.
Before the Ohio election, Tweety was fairly soft on HACKETT and said at the end, "If you win tomorrow, we want you on the show the next day."
Tonight HACKETT was on, and there was a strange air between them when the cameras momentarily panned to them before they started talking. Like some sort of deal had been struck. Then Tweety fed him easy ones and HACKETT went through his paces. It was great when HACKETT said, "That wasn't what *I* went to Iraq for" (Shrub's 'women's rights' lie). "I'm willing to go wherever the Marines send me, but that's not the right use of the military."
It's too late for Tweety. This kind of mentoring takes years and is better done in the dark, not under t.v. lights. Plus Tweety doesn't have the ultimate humility that is called for in this role. Like when he applied as CLINTON's press secretary: Tweety would have exploded and then quit over not being able to call the shots.

Who is Tweety?
And maybe this is all out of context...but what is wrong with fighting for women's freedom?
So the military should be used only for men's freedom? Why did Hackett go to Iraq?
Was this just a replay of a cartoon of Sylvester and Tweety Bird?????

4. Hackett went to Iraq for WMDs |
|
not for all the other excuses that have been dreamed up when there were no WMDs. The lie about the weapons was a mis-use of our military as well as all the excuses since then. That's what Hackett was talking about.

Although, I'm not sure what you're saying with your last paragraph.
Matthews is most definitely out of his league when dealing with Hackett. To his credit, though, he knew a winner when he saw one.

with different junk thrown in. Let's see.
I don't think Tweety has the patience or humility to be a tutor/mentor. He himself harks from the days when staff would be more of a Flunky, way in the shadow of the Leader. KKKarl is Flunky-AS-Leader. But there's still a large amount of humble pie for KKKarl to eat, no matter how critical his role was in creating Shrub. The bottom line is that once even a Nobody assumes the throne, the power-behind-the-throne STILL is a flunky and there's always the threat that he can be humiliated in one fell stroke. The Uber-Flunky STILL has to walk the line of the Nobody's powerful pleasure. As for Tweety as CLINTON's (or anybody's) press secretary----this just means to me that he, with his personality, could not last long, and congrats to whoever didn't hire him for that role. Tweety would have had a few explosions behind the scenes leading up to one or two final ones in front of the press corps.
And to Poster #1: My agreeing with HACKETT that wars are not for the specific purpose of "women's rights"---was a way of saying that the military are not social workers, or not supposed to be, until after their military jobs are done and they are mending fences and building good will afterwards. Not for Men's rights, either. This train of thought does not make me an opponent of Women's Rights, O.K.? I could provide credentials on that particular topic, but this should suffice for now.

7. He does resemble Tweety, but |

Tweety is soooo much cuter.
The only reason I would ever fight in a war would be for women's rights....oh, forgot....I do that everyday, but without all the ammo, guns, armor, and tanks. And I'm not even a social worker....
Women are nothing but collateral damage....and now they are more oppressed than when Saddam ruled. Thanks George for all of that lovely frigging freedom....love wearing black from head to toe in 110 degree temperatures.
Sometimes I get this eerie feeling that this is how it was planned to turn out.....
A bunch of Extreme Fundamentalists of Islam and Christianity are having a pissing contest....that is basically what it is coming down to.....and women suffer. I hate war. It is such a waste. It's a boy thing. Stop it. STOP IT! I detest all of the machismo of Hackett...his bragging about carrying 80 lbs. on his back and busting in doors in Falluja....I think how I would hate to have my door busted in by men that speak a foreign language.
I hope he didn't harm any innocent people while in Iraq. Why don't more men immulate Gandhi? Or Jesus?
I don't understand....this world could be such a wonderful place if we would just practice a little bit of empathy...just a little bit.
Suffering Succatash....

8. Tweety may be trying to lay claim, as if he first noticed Hackett. |
|
If Hackett gets close enough, Tweety may lift his tail and try to spray him as marked terrirtory.
