Robertson: "Operation Supreme Court Freedom" -Petition God to Smite Judges

Radical Cleric Pat Robertson, who recently made terrorist threats against Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on his Fundamentalist Extremest Cable Satellite TV Network, CBN, has also issued a Fatwa on United States Supreme Court Justices. He prayed, asking God, "let there be more vacancies on the court". Now since these are lifetime appointments, this is tantamount to petitioning the Deity to kill Justices.

In addition to the TV broadcast empire, Robertson's terrorist network also operates a web site - CBN.com. Robertson has extended his Fatwa on Justices and is now asking his cells of followers - he has sleeper cells in every US city - he is asking his followers to also petition the Deity to kill justices.

On the "Operation Supreme Court Freedom" page ( http://www.cbn.com/special/supremecourt/prayerpledge.asp ), he provides a "prayer points" list, which is sort of a list of talking points to go over with God. Note point #4.

Prayer Points

1. Pray that the person God desires would be appointed to the Supreme Court.

2. Pray that the President would have courage and rely on God's wisdom in nominating new Supreme Court justices.

3. Pray that the justices of the Supreme Court would rule according to the Constitution as written and not man's opinions.

4. Pray that additional vacancies occur within the Supreme Court.

5. Pray that those who oppose biblical truth would retire from the Supreme Court and be replaced by those who honor God's law.

6. Pray that truth would reign supreme during the Senate confirmation hearings.

7. Pray that any plan of the enemy for the Senate confirmation hearing would be thwarted. Take authority over the schemes of Satan concerning the Supreme Court.

8. Pray for the physical protection of Supreme Court justices, the current nominee, the Senate Judiciary Committee members, and all those involved in the confirmation hearings.

9. Pray the biblical prayer, "But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream" (Amos 5:24) in the United States of America.

10. Pray that the Ten Commandments would be more than just an historical memorial for the justices of the Supreme Court, but that their truth would reign in their hearts.

11. Pray that Roe v. Wade would be overturned.

12. Pray that justices who believe in a loose interpretation of the United States Constitution be replaced by those who are strict constructionists.
