Good press for Sheehan from the Miami Herald:
A question that deserves to be answered

By LEONARD PITTS JR.

<snip>

Cindy Sheehan will get her wish to meet with President Bush the day winged donkeys perform an air show in the skies above the South Lawn. In other words, never.

In part this is because the president is famously intolerant of criticism and notoriously fumble-tongued when working without a script, so his handlers would rather chew glass than send him out to confront an angry protester who knows exactly what she believes and why. It is also because no president can afford to be seen as having been bullied into doing something. So Sheehan's vigil near the president's Crawford, Texas, ranch is likely to continue until the end of Bush's extended vacation without reaching resolution.

Unless you count embarrassing a president who badly needed embarrassing. In which case, Sheehan's demand for a meeting has already been a smashing success.

While I agree that Bush won't meet with Cindy, I would dearly love to see those winged donkeys dive-bombing * whereever he goes. ;-)

2. He's a juvenile. Geez, how much more do you want to harrass a
juvenile? Chronological age has nothing to do with the deportment of a juvenile. He's always been a juvenile. A person who - physically shakes up and down in a chuckle over their own dumb jokes, a person who performs for others by telling dumb jokes, who always has to have people set up a business for them, who has to get their father to get them out of the face of war, who fools around during their token, aborted military life, who snears at an execution, who totally lacks diplomacy, who needs continual tutoring and coaching, who prances and performs for concocted publicity stunts, and who couldn't face war, but allows friends to make profits by sending others to war and allows death of humans and the earth by secret agendas, lies, broken promises, torment, and torture - can't be called an adult.

The citizens are learning.

All power to the little people. May they win before they are all herded into slave conditions. Education and sharing is the best weapon against people who have decalred war on the little people.

Blessed be the peacmakers.

3. That's an accurate classification.
Somehow, juveniles are a lot more likable when they're supposed to be adolescents.
