DN!: Military can be experimented upon without their consent..
Edited on Fri Aug-26-05 10:08 AM by lostnfound
Fascinating discussion of MKUltra today on DemocracyNow! with shocking interview with Joyce Reilly, RN about MKUltra and other similar programs, and a documentary called "Beyond Treason!"

Talks about the fact that, by law, the military can be experimented upon WITHOUT their CONSENT.

Discusses examples of the individual lives destroyed by those experiments.

(By the way, they are offering a CDRom and documentary of "Beyond Treason" for a $90 pledge to Pacifica Radio station KPFT.)

1. Military personnel are property, so I guess they think it's their right
I think maybe it's time to remove the "humans as property" lingo and mindset out of the military, don't you?

Not to throw out a flippant comment; I was active duty. What they're doing to our soldiers, in the here and now, when we most certainly know BETTER, pushes me past being reasonable. It's surrealistic, at this point. Our nation already faced it's government down for experiments and lies to, on, and about the military. They have no excuse now, to have continued to do things, or allow things to be done, to our troops without their knowledge and consent. Not one excuse.

2. Of course they can!
We were shot full of anthrax when the FDA had not approved it. Plus, the vaccines were old as the hills and loaded with thimerosol.

9. Bikini Atoll, No Bikini Atoll
I had relatives at sea during those evolutions--no protective gear save goggles, and they observed the mushroom cloud.

All dead now.

5. And the hell with the constitution...
that the military oath requires them to protect and defend against all enemies domestic and foreign.

6. Why can't I find this?
It isn't even mentioned on their main page. In the headlines. I can understand if there's no transcript yet, or the program isn't archived, but there isn't any mention of it, that I can find.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

7. Sorry -- it was Amy Goodman on air after DN!'s regular show was played
It's pledge drive time, when I heard Amy playing excerpts of the interview and of the documentary, I assumed it was part of today's DN! show. Looking at the website I see that it was not; it must have been follow-on to the DN! regular broadcast this morning.

Perhaps we can hear it at kpftx.org archives in a couple of hours.

Also people can probably still call 713-526-5738 (713-JAM-KPFT) to pledge and get the DVD and CDRom.

8. This link I'm posting, has a ton of info on CBR experiments.
There are some shocking stories on the RATS web page. Dugway proving grounds, is a scary place and it has been for years. Tons a photos of people our military have tested their, weapons of mass destruction on over the years. All kinds of links to some stories that you could make into science fiction movies. It's Shockingly real what the mad scientists at the DoD have been toying around with, trying to wipe out the planet. It looks like the military is not only thinking about starting up the draft boards again, but it's old Vietnam era C B R experimentation, is being dusted off and has been put back in action too.

I had thought, that Dugway proving grounds had been inactive since 1972, but the DoD has fired the place back up in 1999 and the mad scientists are back at work, devising still newer and bigger horrors, as I type. Racial and age profiling gone mad and our tax dollars have been funding it ALL...

CBR warfare = Chemical, Bioligical, Radiolodical

RATS = Registry of Atmospheric Testing Survivors

11. Yup, it's lawful. They're not supposed to do it to us civilians, but

wait 25 years and you'll find out what they did to you anyway.

On edit, the WORST thing, tho, is they turn around and deny you medical coverage after giving you some horrible chronic or terminal illness (if yer a military person). They're some real bastards.
