The "Robber-baron Right" Cancer is Spreading. We must stop it.

The Democrats the left in general have spent so much time and energy demonizing this one man..... GW Bush.

What a waste.

Soon enough he'll slink off stage all that time and effort spent attacking him has been wasted in a sense.

It's not GW we have a problem with. After all he's just a figure head. What we are fighting against is the malignant ideological movement that used GW as a tool for their dark ends.

They'll soon trot out the next G.W. If they are lucky enough they'll find someone with charisma. When this happens the left will be really fucked. Just imagine how much more damage GW Bush could have accomplished if he had the charisma of Bill Clinton.

The Neocon Neo-robber baron class have elevated greed and avarice to an art form. It's a classic defense mechanism on their part. A subconscious desire to self-medicate their internal maladies with the temporary euphoria that comes from increased power and wealth. The right has created a whole mythology to rationalize thier actions which collectively weaken our great country.

Christianity implores us to love the sinner and hate the sin.

The left needs take the high ground and learn not to hate the figureheads the right-wing install in the Whitehouse. We should offer compassion for the victims of the right, including those who are the public face of thier movement.

We must do more to expose and inoculate our fellow Americans against the sickness of the Neocon Neo Robber-Baron Right.

2. No Democratic Unity with the DLC traitors disparaging the DNC
Until the DNC purges the DLC drones, they will sap the life out of any anti corporate movement.

Obama, the new DLC shining star, votes against the working people, and with the corporate agenda, as Hillie Clinton, Lieberman, Biden, et al.

The Dems are sunk until they purge the DLC traitors.

3. I agree the DLC is one of many opportunities to fix the Democratic Party
Edited on Fri Aug-26-05 02:16 PM by iconoclastNYC
But my post goes beyond partisan politics. If you start talking about the right in terms of whats wrong with the ruling element of the right wing you can draw in the independants and the paleocons who are disgusted with the Republican party state of affairs.

You know as much of a problem as we have with the DLC types, the Paleocons, the "true Republicans" if you look back on history have even a bigger problem with thier party, b/c the Necons absolutely control thier party and are driving it into the ditch.

The DLC is endangered. The signs are all there to see. Candidates are demanding to be removed from thier member rolls. The entire Netroot movement has the DLC in its' crosshairs. The latter part of 2005 is going to be able cutting the DLC off at the knees.

The Democratic party is a great party that we're going to make better because we now have the tools to change it. We didn't in the 90s. We do now.

If Humanity is going save itself, the Internet is what is going to enable that to happen.

Taking back the Democratic party or creating a replacement if neccesary is just the first step.

4. Oh, I Want to Get Rid of *All* of Them
I have never said that I just want to get rid of GW. I want *everyone* in his entire cabinet gone & the entire neocon movement disgraced. I never want to see another neocon in power. They are destroying this country, & it cannot be allowed to continue. People think that people like me just want GW gone because we lost the election & want the White House back in the hands of Democrats, but that's really not what's driving me. At this point, I would even take a moderate, level-headed Republican over Bush. It's all about the neocons with me. I want them destroyed, period.

5. I suggested literally throwing them all in jail
But that presupposes functioning electoral processes.

I don't really see a way out.

6. Return to anti trust laws would spur the economy
I believe niche entrepenures would be able to better the mega corps at their game. It would create a new class, rejeuvenate the middle class, and return government to the people.Anti trust works, it's about individual solutions, and a new economy, of , by , for the people.
