1. Please Keep Cube Rats Informed As To How It's Covered
I assume you mean the new, disastrous Gallup poll?

Would love to hear how it's covered, how it's presented, discussed etc. Including tenor, snippets of commentary etc.

5. Gallup, and they skew their polls heavily using far more Republicans than
Independents and Democrats.

10. During the election season they polled 10-11% more GOPers than Dems
I guess that is how they skewed public perception to help Bush steal it again.

4. I bet it's the Gallup poll.
It's always the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll.

One more point from Gallup and I'll eat my hat.

14. Not Necessarily, That Could Be A Reflection Of More People SAYING
they're Dems because Bush is so unpopular.

When Bush was more popular, more people were identifying themselves as Repubs in the polls (including Gallup) and people used to say "Hey! They're sampling too many Repubs!"

It's difficult to determine whether it's a built in sample bias, or an artifact of the data.

15. Maybe, just pointing it out.
:)

During the election, especially, DUers got pissed when Republicans were oversampled in similar numbers.

13. When CNN presents poll # as trouble you know Bush is way down
in the real public opinion.

The telling aspect of this poll is that it could not reach these depths without Repubs beginning to abandon ship .......
