A Pizza place in Waco has set up a 'bank' of sorts for the folks in Crawford. If you are so inclined, you can call them up and give them your credit card number and make a 'deposit' into the bank which will feed folks at Camp Casey.

I just spoke with Justin, the owner's son, and he took my CC# and name, address, etc., This appears to be on the up and up, because one of the CPH website volunteers has indicated that she personally knows this family.

Although it must be said that the Food Not Bombs folks are doing a great job of feeding people at Camp Casey. Still, I'm sure that some people would like an occasional break from all that healthy stuff!

20. Pizza Thursday night before I left

and it was great! The make shift kitchen there is really good, I worked in it most of Wednesday and spent one evening doing dishes but it is dreadfully hot and difficult being outside. The woman running the kitchen is amazing and we all pitched in but still, to provide good food on time without it being covered in flies or spoiling is a real feat. The pizza allowed the kitchen staff to stock up, clean up, prepare for the weekend and have at least a few minutes rest. Please donate, the pizza was really good.
