WHY CINDY SHEEHAN MAY HAVE GONE TO TEXAS
By Carrie Devorah
MichNews.com

In Ireland there is a season of Marches. In DC, there is a season of protests, fall, usually starting with the IMF protest. This season started earlier, mid August. A mother said she stood alone in Crawford Texas. Her political affiliations continue to out her being part of something bigger, planned earlier, by others. But then, heigh-ho the derry-o, so did the cheese in "The Farmer In The Dell" nursery rhyme claim to stand alone.

Cindy Sheehan is an umbrella member of United For Peace and Justice, organizer of anti-administration protests, including the one weeks away. September 24th.

Members of United For Peace and Justice include International Solidarity Movement/ ISM, MFSO/Military Families Speak Out, and Gold Star Families For Peace/GSFP. Sheehan co-founded GSFP. January 2005, Sheehan flew in from California protesting alongside MFSO supporters outside the Inauguration and Pentagon. ISM recruits youth off college campuses to function as "human shields" in the Middle East.

....

Cindy neglected to tell people, June 1st, she stood alone. Husband Pat and she formerly separated. He served her citing irreconcilable political differences. Pat supports his son in death. Cindy says she grieves publicly for all mothers. Noticeably, daughters not by her side, son Andy wants mom home. A family statement released by sister-in-law Cherie, finally answered the question people curious about, Cindy did not speak for them.

With moveon.org asking people to "please join us, and together, we'll make sure that President Bush can't escape the reality of this war," with the long planned March nearing, there is no guessing wrong who may be front and center of UFPJ and A.N.S.W.E.R.'s march banner on Pennsylvania Avenue... Cindy Sheehan, September 24th. But then she most likely knew that way back before she landed in Crawford.

Wow they are good. :puke:

BULLSHIT.

They were separated before she went to Crawford.

Daughters? At least one sides with mom, or did they not see the poem she wrote?

Sister-in-law? Never mentioned her brother in her letter, just attacked Cindy, so this is yet more bullshit.

These people are so fucking shameless it's pathetic.

7. Yes, the smearing isn't working though
the more shit they put in the papers and on the news, the more people hear about her and sympathize with her. Cindy's personal family issues should not be fair game (as stated so eloquently on DU earlier, the only thing that her family issues prove is that War fucks up families) and the public doesn't like seeing the big, bad government smearing private citizens who voice public concerns.

They're done, they're cooked, and they know it. That's why they're swingin' so hard!

2. No, they're pathetic.
All they can do is smear Cindy, and it's not working. Every time I read a contrived piece of bullshit like this, I almost feel sorry for the losers.

3. That does it. I cant support anyone who is "political."
She is being POLITICAL- in a democracy, during a war- oh, the horror.

And she has faimily members who disagree with her on politics- I've never heard of such of thing.

We are through the looking glass, people.

4. Bullshit
Her daughter was with her. I suppose she might have to do something like go back to school or work. But she was with Cindy as was Cindy's sister.

I'm learning to ignore crap like this. And from the fact that the anti-Cindy protest bus was cancelled due to lack of interest, I think the public gets it, too.

Puke is right, sabra!

6. So, Cindy's message isn't true because... other people agree with her?
:wtf: Why do the pukes take such convoluted methods of trying to discredit people? They give arguments that make no sense.

It's like outing Plame to "Discredit" her husband. As if her patriotic service was a bad thing, or her CIA connections and support for his trip made his findings somehow less credible. How would that be less credible? :wtf:
