BWAHAHAHA-- C&L ratted Coulter out to Mayor Bloomberg
More Coulter

My story from today (originated with Ed Cone on 8/23) is the lead on the Huffington Post which is good news because more people will see her call NY'ers cowards. I contacted Mayor Bloomberg's press office today and they have the video and her column. Hopefully they will respond to this idiotic smear by her next week.

3. She is despicable.
I keep hoping someone finally busts on her on her hateful, over-the-top crap.

Maybe this time.

5. bee-autiful
this is outrageous - but rather a falling tree in the forest - unless someone (esp a high profile politician) responds - and the response thus grabs some media attention. In that scenario - suddenly there are folks in the forest listening to the tree fall.

10. he used to be pretty friendly with Anne, who was a regular on his show
Politically Incorrect - doubt he would be the one to go after her.

13. Were that to be the case...
I would love it.

But, he does rather get silent per some of his "friends" - so while I enjoy listening to him, I doubt he would be the one to take Anne on. Hope I am wrong.

23. I don't know if that's a fair comment
I've seen him disagree with Ann many times.

I think last year he was trying to give the war and the administration the benefit of the doubt, so it was like he was in the middle. He wasn't 100% for the war and yet he wasn't solidly against it either.

I'm glad he doesn't seem to be doing that anymore because, frankly, I was getting a little tired of the 'what if it works' argument.

37. If he is drunk or stoned enough, he will screw anyone
But I think at this point in time, she is a little TOO skinny and OLD for his tastes.

In the relationships department, Bill gets an F. He always has. And given his last little dustup with ole Coco, the Delta Flight Attendant, he probably does not screw anyone without having them sign a 'prefucking' agreement!!!

I have a friend who knows Coco rather well, and even though Bill is not a "mature relationships" kind of guy, I believe he told the truth about that mess (he eventually prevailed in court, btw)! http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,15434,00.html

And I have heard him speak rather sharply to her, and call her out on her bullshit, on his show, so I guess he would if it benefitted the program. Odds are good she will not appear until the dust has settled on this latest imbroglio, but who really knows? Any publicity is better than none....

21. he's from New Jersey
Ann used to be a regular on his shows but not lately. He used to refer to her as his 'drinking buddy' but I haven't even heard him do that lately.

She was a guest on Real Time last season via satellite and even on satellite, people still didn't want to see her! I remember Richard Belzer was on the panel and he started to walk off stage when Bill brought up the satellite screen......

I can't imagine that Bill would be pleased about her remark.......

9. Maybe contact the Manhattan Borough President
who is a democrat (I forget his name) as well - he might make noise there as well - along with the head of the Policeman's benevolent association and the Fireman's Union, along the EMS people - I'm sure all of them would be fascinated by Ann's writing about our city.

Edited on Fri Aug-26-05 10:43 PM by Stephanie

Fernando Ferrer, Congressman Anthony Weiner, Gifford Miller - send it to them, so they can challenge Bloomberg to respond.

18. Well Virginia Fields used to be the Borough President
And now she's one of the 4 Dems in the primary for mayor. I doubt she'll make much of it though. I doubt any of them will really, except Weiner maybe. He's my personal fave in the race even though I don't have a vote in it.

Bloomberg--wondering what he will do with this...

Coulter is such a angry person. She needs therapy--seriously. Her "commentaries" go beyond an opinion. They're hateful.

33. If you were a NYC Fireman, and Anne Coulter's face was on fire,
would you piss on it to put it out? I'd like to think I'd have enough human decency to do so, but she's really making it tough to decide.
