Seems to me that he thinks those who grieve for soldiers killed in Iraq are simply pathetic and deserve no attention.

Is his bottom line the one implied in the third panel, that those killed in Iraq deserve no grief because they were stupid to have enlisted?

That makes no sense to me, either from a logical or humorous standpoint.

Seems like a Freeper took over Rall's brain when this strip was created.
