Poll question: POLL: Should Dems in Congress list real reasons for Iraq War & |
|
challenge Bush to refute them?
the short version is strategic control of two of the major oil producing regions in the world, the Caspian Sea Basin and the Persian Gulf.
You could explain it with one map with black globs where the oil reserves are.
Then explain that the rest of the world's oil reserves will drain down first, making these areas even more valuable.
The only part of this that is really open to debate is whether they did this for the country as a whole or just for the oil companies, defense, and building contractors.
If you have had any direct dealings with politicians though, you know that if cronyism is even one of the possibilities, it's probably true.

1. While Shrub is on the run |
|
It is time for the Dems to question him on everything and keep the pressure on the whining little cry baby.

demanding an explanation of the "secret energy meeting", way back in the beginning. They should have been on this like the press was on Scotty McClellan & the Rove scandal. Just ask nothing but the same question, over and over, don't stop until you get an answer or until people realize that something really really bad happened, and that they are being lied to about it.
