Californian couple mistaken as 'terrorists' - any info on this?
http://sify.com/news/fullstory.php?id=13925767

Washington: A couple in California, whose home was wrongly identified as belonging to an Islamic radical, are being harassed and now police has stepped in to provide protection.

It all began when the Fox television news ran a report on August 7, mistakenly identifying Randy and Ronnell Vorick's house as belonging to Islamic radical Iyad Hilal, whose group allegedly had ties with those responsible for the July 7 bombings in London.

Does anyone have a link to the DU discussion on this topic? I cant seem to find it anywhere. Just saw a report on it on CNN. Google news didnt have many stories related to it either... I think fox should pay up to these people.

2. thanks much
Funny how it took CNN 3 days to finally do a report on it. You'd think they'd be all over a faux news mistake.

3. Was this "The Most Ridiculous Item of the Day" on O'Reilly?
I doubt it.

What reckless "fair and balanced" "news".

This poor family could be harmed because of the stupidity of the Right - but, wait...this wouldn't be the first time that happened, would it?

I hope they sue the pants off of Fox and the idiot who gave out their address and I hope they win multi-millions!

4. These people are, understandably, scared and upset ...
... they have a police officer stationed outside their home ... but, all is OK, the folk at FAUX said they were sorry and regretted any inconvenience this may have caused.

Yet an other example of how dangerous and irresponsible FAUX is!
