At least the AP is getting better with the nomenclature.

1. LOL, love the pic of the freep being arrested.
Apparently, he doesn't understand about not getting in the face of a local law enforcer. MKJ

Great thread title, BTW. MKJ

especially the one that bares my name. I don't support this war no matter
who's name is on it."

2. I hope the military recruiters show up
like I read about yesterday.

Seems these pro-war people would be gung-ho to get right on over to Iraq.

10. Maybe the word got around that recruiters might be there
and that contributed to the noticable lack of volunteers for the "caravan".

He must've thought the local Sheriff's officers would let him walk on by. Apparently not! :applause:

11. I was listening to Bradblog live from Camp Casey
but got kicked off and was tired of restarting it for the millionth time. But before I got kicked off, he said that the guy was arrested because he got in the face of a pro peace protesters and the police told him several times to back off. He refused to back off (obviously he takes seriously being pro-war) and they arrested him for interfering with an officers performance of duty or something like that. Seems the cops are trying to keep the pro peace folks and the pro war folks separated.

18. Oh good. Thanks. I'm relly glad the peace officers are
there keeping the peace. They want to start a brawl so they all either get arrested or told to go home. They'll do anything to stop Cindy's protest.

Thanks for posting what happened.

A marketer's dream (i.e. the Republican Party)--steals 'em blind, sends them or their offspring off to war, and they cheer it on.

I don't know whether to laugh at them or cry about them.

6. The "Bush Country" sign made me sad.
They obviously idolize the little guy. It's amazing that they can't see how terrible his policies are, and what an awful little man he is. It's like they're worshipping an image, a false image of a George W Bush that doesn't exist, even as they ignore the real one.

Heaven help us.

How about "This is Nixon Country" or "Carter Country" or even "Doddering Reagan Country"?

Nope. Only the deluded who worship a (mis)leader of clay would come up with such a kool-aid sign.

20. I think those people from Crawford
need to get out of there for a week and see what things are like in one of the blue states. See what it is like to sit under a tree and have a soft breeze blow across your face, to be around educated people and not be sweating all the time. Maybe their problem is they are dehyrated all the time. I wonder if there are not people there who have never seen anything else to compare life to?

27. You are right! Being a 2nd generation Texan
who saw the light at 18 and went to college in the Northeast, I can attest to what you say. I got a lot of crap from family members. People who are not in Texas don't understand that Texans consider you to be a traitor if you leave Texas voluntarily to live elsewhere. One guy knew said he was a teenager before he learned that he COULD leave Texas and live elsewhere!

I went off to college and never came back to Texas to live. Best decision I ever made!

And plenty of hot-headed morons in blue states, too.

My family lived in Texas going back to 1840. My oil-rigger uncle is a staunch yellow dog Democrat and unashamed liberal, and he's 100% Texan. Most of my family down there are liberals.
