We are fighting a group of people who want to dismantle civilization and America as we know it!

'islamic' Militants?

How about the Far Right.

Their claims and cries of 'moral values', this is their thing, and it is the veil which can destroy this nation, no, it can destroy this world. It is their blood soaked machete.

We too have a weapon which can bring their downfall.

Knowledge.

We need to expose the RW'ers for the fascists that they are.

We need to turn everything into a -gate, because everything they do is worthy of being turned into a -gate.

1. The culture war is media manufactured, too.

In reality, even most registered republicans aren't total wackjobs. They are just normal people who share 80% of the values you or I do. All they need is something to shift them out of the mental box made of talking points and kneejerk reactions which they have been placed in.

The media and the politicians foster this idea of a "culture war" by focusing on extremists as though they are normal people. In reality what is happening is an attack on American values by a tiny minority of uber-extremists who use wedge issues to sheild from public view their true agenda.
