When 1000 pro-peace protesters show up, the media says "dozens..."
Yet when 1000 pro-war protesters show up, corporate media accurately reports their numbers.

I know I'm not the only DUer who has noticed this.

God, I just love all the liberal media bias in this country. :sarcasm:

1. You know, I think we just have to accept as a given that the MSM

is against our side. They are CORPORATE media; they're going to advance an interpretation of events that reflects the corporatist worldview.

Seek out reliable alternative media:

2. Oh I know...I haven't watched the nightly news in about a month...
But I remember seeing pictures and hearing official counts at Camp Casey into the 400's, and the media reporting "dozens," not to mention reports of "thousands" of protesters at the RNC, when in truth there were at least 400,000.

Then today I see a handful of reports posted on DU, so quick to number the freepers and their ilk into the thousands and beyond.

I realize the corporate media is crap, but I never fail to be disappointed, anyway.

(thanks for the links, btw :hi:)

5. No prob...
I knew the MSM was against after I was among the tens of thousands protesting in DC in 2001 on Inauguration Day and I got home to watch practically no coverage of the protests.

CNN has turned on their Bushco propaganda machine. Call them on their lies
They are reporting bullshit lowball numbers and showing week old footage of Casey Camp 1 and no photos/footage of Camp 2....

7. no, pro-war numbers were exaggerated
They're deliberately underestimating anti-war numbers and deliberately overestimating pro-war numbers.
