We're on The Cusp folks.
Like you didn't know it already.

Either really good things are bound to happen soon, or very bad things.

There is an awakening, but the ratio of waking people to those who hit the snooze button again and again will be the factor.

As it stands, I'm ready to quit my job and go to D.C. later next month for the protest.

My daughter's future and the evolution of humankind depends on it.

The time is NOW.

This has all been going on for way too long.

Prophesies say it's got to get way ugly before humans learn their lessons.

I say it's NOT written in stone.

The future is changeable. Ask any scientist or metaphysicist.

BUT NOW IS THE TIME.

This time is ours.

This is the time of the PeaceMakers.

I know lots are fed up and ready for internment camps and civil war to come our way.

BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY.

Here's why:

1. History repeats itself. Yeah, so you think Gandhi's work was a failure. He mobilized a whole country against British empire, only to have civil war. Evolution. We learn.

2. The Christ. He goes 'round preaching some radical shit like "love thy neighbor" and they crucify him. Evolution. He knew who the 'bad guys' were just like Gandhi. He got rough enough to toss a few capitalist tables, to make to stink. They both had one thing on the mind: SPIRITUAL REVOLUTION. It carried on. Lots took it the wrong way. So what do have left? RE-EXAMINATION. And if you re-examine his words and deeds, you come to the conclusion that repugs and freeps are all a sham. It very easy. They're fakes. We learn.

3. Even if you don't subscribe to "God", you still have to accept in a "method to the madness". Athiests who subscribe to this board must confess in Hope. If ya got Hope, you wouldn't be here otherwise. It's the same God by a different name. You just hate religion, and I can't sayz I blame ya. It's all just walls and smoke 'n' mirrors and I know it too. But don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. We still learn.

4. So what do the above 'Talking Points' mean? It means that we can defeat evil mutherfuckers without resorting to violence. WE HOLD AND VALUE THE TRUTH. That's what matters. AND THE TRUTH IS LIKE A GAWDDAMN VACCINATION. Once ya hear it, I mean really hear it, YOU KNOW IT TO BE TRUTH AND YOUR LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.

YOU'RE VACCINATED.

Against lies.

So I think that's what we are up against.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN WE VACCINATE?

It's not hard to 'vaccinate'. Just tell the truth. Speak from the heart.

There's no defense against it.

6. I think this will be MUCH MORE important than the last
See, even us liberals are still shaking ourselves out of the dream of 9-11.

Shitface has brought us nothing but endless war and the result that the whole world distrusts us.

We are not not only the laughing stock of the world, we are at the same time the most feared of countries.

That's no way to become of what is an enevitability of joining global concerns with energy and climate.

We blew it.

After Clinton, (besides NAFTA), we had a world climate that we could contribute to and communicate with.

Now it's shit.

The whole world hates us.

And they have good reason.

It's so sad, but energy crunches will make or break or us.

We will either oust Asshole and take anothe route or there will be a Revolution, a new kind, it's already beginning.

4. Friendly disagreement on one point:
"It's the same God by a different name."

A humanist would probably disagree, as a fundamental tenet of humanism is that there really isn't anyone out there watching our backs. Yes, humanists can be very hopeful, but this relates more to a belief that rational minds can come to contstructive solutions to problems. *Very* different than a hope that relates to a supreme being, no matter how vaguely that being is defined.

That having been said, I raise a toast to your energy and positive attitude. I see it as both rational and hopeful, and whatever divinity might exist in the universe surely smiles on that.

Cheers!

8. A Humanist...
A Humanist is just one who has shrugged off religion.

Religion is walls.

Anyone who cne break through those walls and still find a Meaning to Life, I have the utmost respect for.

11. I am ready to quit my job.
I'm more afraid that if I don't, Fascism and endless war will be the result.

I'm talented enough that I can find a new one (even in this economy).

I've made myself versitile over the years because I knew what was coming.

Even still, it's more important NOW THAN EVER, to take a stand.

SOMEONE HAS TO TAKE STAND.

And I will sacrifice.

This is not a game.

This is real life.

10. The world is changing
While our leaders have been off playing the empire building game(and failing horribly at it) the world has gone and changed on us. China has been growing at phenomenal rates, and will outshine the US both economically and militarily in the next decade or so. Russia is also slowly getting on its feet, and India has become another powerhouse in the world economies. If the EU finally figures out how to work together, that is another major player on the stage. All of these countires need massive resources, such as oil, metals, wood, silicon and other vital materials, to keep their economies growing. The world is about to get a whole lot flatter, meaning that the American standard of living is taking a major downturn soon. The economy is holding somewhat stable at the moment but big changes are coming, and none for the better for us.

Instead of preparing for this massive shift, the Bush admin has blown the surplus, wasted 100's of billions in Iraq, undermined vital social services, and generally fucked over America. We are in a very weakened state to handle the big changes coming down the pipeline.

The good news is that people will know that there is no-one to blame but the radical fringe of the GOP for all this. They controlled everything during this crucial time, and they fucked up royally. Hard times are coming but hopefully, we'll soon have more competent leadership to help us through them.

14. We can turn it around.
It will take ALOT of hard work and ALOT of education.

Believe me bro, I have every reason in the world to think it's all failed.

I worked for Greenpeace for many years and have been arrested. I've seen the evil first hand.

But, I cannot help but have hope.

It's the only thing I have left.

20. I am hopeful too, usa
Just trying to take the long view lately. In the short term, I think Democrats will take back the government. That's a step in the right direction and cause for some hope.

The long view is another thing, but I guess we'll worry about that when we get there. As long as there are good people in the world, there is hope. The internet helps too.

The BBC story doesn't say much. Googling for "Gladio" and "Propaganda Due" (abbreviated P2 and/or P20G) and Licio Gelli should do the trick.

21. "Carry on, give me hope, give me strength..."
No more blood for oil, we got our own battles to fight on our own soil
No more psychological warfare, to trick us to thinking that we ain't loyal
If we don't serve our own country, we're patronizing a hero
Look in his eyes its all lies
The stars and stripes, they've been swiped, washed out and wiped
And replaced with his own face, Mosh now or die
If I get sniped tonight you know why,
Cause I told you to fight.

Come along follow me as I lead through the darkness
As I provide just enough spark that we need to proceed
Carry on, give me hope, give me strength
Come with me and I won't steer you wrong
Put your faith and your trust as I guide us through the fog
To the light at the end of the tunnel
We gonna fight, we gonna charge, we gonna stomp, we gonna march
Through the swamp, we gonna mosh through the marsh
Take us right through the doors (c'mon!)

34. utopiansecretagent Thank You
You very nicely expressed the feeling of many of us that feel the same way that you do. I too believe that this is a critical time, a once in a lifetime event, a lot like 9/11. I posted earlier a post that was about my feelings on what was happening in the world when Cindy became the light to a movement of many and what we should plan for being at the White House. Here is my post: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=4386979

And I also included a freeper site that disected my post on here immediately after I posted it. We are being ridiculed and tried to be beaten down, but if you read to the bottom of the site I spanked him, whoever he was and he didn't have anything to say. Included for your enjoyment it you want a good laugh.

http://angrygwn.mu.nu/archives/111919.php

Thanks again, this is the time to get moving. Keep speaking because what you are saying is very loud and exceptionally well expressed.

Kicked and Nominated.
