New Orleans Pissing off Republicans (Hurricane related) |
|
novak, boortz, limbaugh and other like minded neanderthal conservatives will be devastated to hear that the city of New Orleans has outlawed price gouging for the next five days. The Mayor and City Council do not believe the citizens of the city should be taken advantage of because of a natural disaster in combination with unscrupulous merchants. Maybe Senator Vitter and Congressman Jindal can send federal aid to those who would screw the citizenry, one of the finest republican actions known to man.
Still waiting patiently for sweet Katrina to do her act.

5. The city has imposed extra sanctions on |

the activity and vows a crackdown on any such actions. They are also urging any citizens involved to report such actions. I don't know if it has ever been legal but such activity usually occurs during times of crisis.

6. Price Gouging is a strong argument for the left. |
|
It shows one of the places where the republican "free market" leads to the worst of all worlds not the best. I've used it in good arguments with libertarians and republicans.
