Pro-war idiocy at Crawford

There also were some heated moments at the pro-Bush rally when Bush supporters mistakenly identified two people as war protesters. The two walked in with a sign that read "Say No to War — Unless a Democrat is President."

Many Bush supporters only saw the top of the sign and believed the men were war protesters, so they began shouting and chasing the pair out. One man tore up their signs.

4. Better that they fight each other and leave us alone.
It's funny that they can't tell each other apart.

3. I think they are more sad than to be feared or hated
Like Frank Rich said, this war is over; they simply can't look at the world in anything but black and white. To challenge them is like challenging a substance abuser. They simply won't accept it.

6. The right is getting desperate
That's what this is. It's desperation. They're sinking and know it. So they lash out. Like a dog who gets beat. The GOP know their days are numbered.

10. Remember: Wealth, power and lobbyists.
They are a long way from losing their power. They won't give it up easily.

8. We will be reaping the causalties of this war for decades to come.
It's a long way from being over if ever. The cost to those who served over there may mean an early an early death or disability. The cost to the treasury may take generations to fix. The cost to the US image may take more than generations to fix, providing something is done to get these traitors out of office sooner than later.

11. Thanks. Incisive.
You are so right. The media, the Dems, should say what you said here.

7. Good to see they respect peoples right to protest
Even if they were mistaken, it's great to see that they would respect someone with a different view and their right to protest.

Still, what a bunch of morons.. every single one of them.
