Terrific follow-up to Brad and Laura's shows.

1. You said it!
Laura/Brad were great tonight. The aunt visiting Camp Casey who told the story of her soldier nephew who was a casualty of the war moved me so.

But back to Karel. Over 1/2 hour into the program. He's literally begging for pro-war supporters to call in and no calls yet. We'll have to see if any call in this second half of the hour after this news break.

He usually gets negative calls before this.

3. hey I have a question
what happened between Karel and Twattenburger? I have heard Twattenburger whine about Karel over and over while saying "I won't stoop to the level of "this person"". Unfortunately I live up in Oregon and we only get KGO after dark, so I often miss all but the last few minutes of Karel. Then I endure Twattenburger, and enjoy John Rothman through the wee hours. He is a bit too Zionist for my tastes but I love his presidential history, and his liberal views on social issues. My favorite has always been Bernie Ward, then Ray Taliafero, but between Ray, Bernie and Karel lately, I feel like I am getting this wonderful SPECTRUM of voices from the left. Even though sometimes Karel's music sucks lol.

Anyway, what happened with Twattenburger? Just curious. I think we need a KGO discussion category on DU

4. Karel has a message board of his own
As for Watten - I don't know what the problem is. But Karel has pretty much taken the high road and won't diss him. I recall Karel saying that Watten snubbed him at a KGO dinner or event. But I haven't heard any more than that.
